Spotlight: New Bay colt a 48,000euros yearling; half-brother to five winners inc Thistle Bird (1m-1m2f inc Group 1; RPR 115) and McCreery (6.5f-1m2f inc Group 3; 109); dam 6f-7f winner (inc 2yo/AW/Listed; 116); never landed a blow on last month's Leopardstown debut (with three of today's rivals ahead) under a considerate ride but improvement expected from in-form yard.

Spotlight: Sands Of Mali filly cost 13,000euros as a yearling; half-sister to winners Royal Highness (7f AW; RPR 86), Lady Camelot (7f 2yo) and Jocks Wa Hae (1m1f); dam Listed-placed 7f winner (90); slow to break but shaped nicely on Lopardstown debut last month when staying on strongly into fifth (stablemate Joltin second, Lucia Molly third), having run green; 2l to make up on Joltin but no surprise if she reversed those placings.

Spotlight: Similar level of form when racing keenly in both starts over 6f on good ground in decent Curragh maidens; good chance he'll see this longer trip out but will need to settle a lot better.
